How You’re Helping
Sophia’s love for horses, dogs, dance, music, art, school, books, golf and tennis brought her a tremendous amount of joy and laughter, even during her most challenging weeks.
Through the Sophia Sunshine Foundation, we want to help others experience that joy and heart-mind well-being through activities such as equine therapy, service dog sponsorship and literacy outreach. We also support pediatric cancer research towards a cure for DIPG.

This campaign is an effort to help move DIPG research FORWARD, towards a cure - to a place where parents get to have more TIME with their child.
When parents receive their child’s DIPG diagnosis, you’re immediately notified that the clock is officially ticking. And terminal equals ticking quickly.
DIPG is a horrific diagnosis that no child, no family, should ever have to know.
Since DIPG is such a rare form of pediatric brain cancer, little is actually understood about it. Funds for more scientific research are desperately needed to help eradicate this childhood death sentence.
